The design of the silver coin Welcome to the World 2024 features tiny baby feet on the reverse. While most coins have a raised relief, this one is struck with incisions, adding unique depth and detail. Similar to little footprints in the sand, this feature commemorates precious moments. The visible inscription "Canada" is placed at the top of the coin.
On the obverse side, there is the image of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. It has a special marking containing four pearls symbolizing the four portraits that adorned Canadian coins during her reign, along with the queen's reign dates.
