The 5 złoty "Łańcut Castle" coin marks the 20th edition in the "Discover Poland" collection, initiated by the National Bank of Poland in 2014. Produced in a circulation standard, it is a valuable addition for collectors and enthusiasts of Polish history and architecture. The total mintage of this coin is 1 million pieces.
Obverse: At the center of the obverse, on a circular plane, there is a traditional depiction of the eagle, the emblem of the Republic of Poland. Just below, along the lower edge of the circle, a semicircular inscription displays the year of issue: "2024". In the rim of the coin, the words "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA" appear in an arc at the top, and "5 ZŁOTYCH" at the bottom, with decorative beads at the beginning and end. To the right, below the eagle, is the mint mark "m / w".
Reverse: The reverse of the coin features a beautiful image of Łańcut Castle, depicted from the western side. The central part of the reverse is filled with wavy lines symbolically representing the structure of the castle. Along the upper part of the rim, in a semicircle, is the inscription "ZAMEK W ŁAŃCUCIE," highlighting the coin's theme. In the lower segment, a special field displays either the inscription "NBP" or the year of issue "2024," depending on the viewing angle.
