A collector's silver coin issued in in 2024 by the National Bank of Poland. The coin commemorates the figure of Major Henryk Dobrzański, a cavalry major of the Polish Army, commander of the Detached Unit of the Polish Army during World War II, and an athlete. He perished in combat against Wehrmacht soldiers. The coin's design was developed by Dobrochna Surajewska.
Obverse: On the left side, the image of Major Henryk Dobrzański on horseback with a saber, on the right side, partially on a separate plane, the image of the eagle established for the emblem of the Republic of Poland, below the eagle, on the right side, the mint mark: m / w. At the bottom, a saber and a field cap, below them, a quote from Major Henryk Dobrzański's statement after the fall of the defense of Warsaw in 1939: "I will not lay down my arms. I will not take off my uniform. / So help me God," ending with a period. Along the edge, from the left side upwards, the inscription: REPUBLIC OF POLAND 2024, at the bottom, the inscription in a semicircle: 10 ZŁ.
Reverse: Centrally, the bust image of Major Henryk Dobrzański in uniform, sheepskin coat, and field cap, in the background on the left side of the portrait, the image of a group of soldiers on horseback. Along the lower edge, the inscription in a semicircle: MJR HENRYK DOBRZAŃSKI "HUBAL".
