Another coin has joined the "Unbroken Soldiers" series. The National Bank of Poland struck the coin in silver. The reverse is decorated with the image of Józef Kuraś. Additionally, the coin is decorated with a colourful Polish flag.
Józef Kuraś ("Ogień", "Orzeł") was born on 23 October 1915 in Waksmund near Nowy Targ, and died on 22 February 1947 in Nowy Targ. In 1934, he became a member of the People's Party. Called up to the army in 1936, he served in Sanok and Słobodka near Vilnius.
