On January 16, 2023, the National Bank of Poland is launching a silver coin with a face value of 20 zlotys and a gold coin with a face value of 200 zlotys, "160th Anniversary of the January Uprising."
The reverse of the silver coin shows a fragment of Walery Eljasz-Radzikowski's drawing "Insurgent Patrol of 1863," depicting a group of Polish insurgents. On the left is the seal of the National Government with a crowned tripartite coat of arms with the Eagle, Pogo and Michael the Archangel. Around the coat of arms runs the inscription NATIONAL GOVERNMENT EQUALITY FREEDOM INDEPENDENCE.
On the obverse of the silver coin are reproduced: a stylized banner and weapons (scythe, saber, rifle) from the January Uprising period.
