To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the victorious Battle of Warsaw, the Mint of Poland issued a collector coin, commemorating the heroic struggle of generals, officers, soldiers and civilians.
The reverse of the coin depicts a cavalry rider of the Polish Army with a sabre raised above his head and a rifleman of the Red Army.
The obverse depicts a crowned eagle, referring to the eagle of Sigismund Augustus of 1568 as the symbol of the Polish State.
