The reverse of the coin depicts a bust of a famous actress Antonina Hoffmann, inspired by a sculpted work of art by Władysław Eliasz from 1872. We can also see images of intricate lacework referring to the actress's stage costumes.
The obverse presents the frontage of the Theatre named after Juliusz Słowacki in Cracow.
Antonina Hoffmann was an outstanding theater actress at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in Cracow. Gifted with talent and beauty, she played over 400 roles during her nearly forty-years long career.
