Gold collector's coin with a nominal value of 50 PLN, struck with a proof mirror stamp, depicting a stylized image of a contemporary 50 PLN circulation banknote.
The third gold coin from the new series "Polish Circulation Banknotes" is inspired by the silver set issued in 2022, which includes all 6 circulation banknotes. The current series will be struck in pure gold, with one coin per year.
Collector coins from the series "Polish Circulation Banknotes" will be rectangular-shaped gold coins stylized with images of currently circulating banknotes, resembling the "paper" circulation banknotes we use daily. The coins will be struck in the highest gold fineness Au999.9, weighing 31.10 grams (1 ounce). The motifs on their obverses and reverses have been meticulously detailed. Available will be all circulating denominations: 10 PLN, 20 PLN, 50 PLN, 100 PLN, 200 PLN, and 500 PLN, with the first 10 PLN gold coin in 2023.
