This silver bullion coin harks back to the ancient times of the early Middle Ages, where the legend of King Arthur was born. England at that time did not yet bear this name; it was known as the Kingdom of the Britons. Constantly under threat from the Saxons, Angles, and Germanic tribes from southern Scandinavia, this kingdom faced incessant attacks. According to legend, King Arthur's role was to stop the invaders from encroaching on the lands of southwestern Britain. Arthur took on the role of defender and protector of the Britons, shielding them from danger posed by enemies.

The reverse of the presented bullion coin depicts Arthur Pendragon fighting alongside his loyal knights. Arthur wields the legendary Excalibur with both hands, striking down a defending enemy warrior in a single blow. In the upper corner, the inscription reads "CAMELOT - ARTHUR PENDRAGON." The obverse of the coin is adorned with twelve shields from the twelve houses of Camelot, encircling the coat of arms of the state of Niue. A certificate confirming its authenticity is included with the product.
