100£ Merlin - Myths And Legends

Introducing continuation in the British Myths & Legends series from the producer The Royal Mint. The reverse depicts an image of Merlin, the most recognisable figure in British mythology with an owl perched on his shoulder, holding a staff. In addition there is information about the year the coin was struck and the inscriptions 'MERLIN', 'MYTHS AND LEGENDS'. The reverse was designed by David Lawrence. The obverse shows an effigy of King Charles III of Great Britain and the denomination and year, designed by Martin Jennings.
