The Tuvalu Silver Coin: Lunar III - Year of the Snake 1 oz Silver 2025 Rotating Charm Antiqued Coin is a unique offering prepared by the Australian mint The Perth Mint.

The aforementioned coin is a complementary element of the sixth collector's edition of the Lunar III series.

Previous coins in the series were the Year of the Mouse 2020, Year of the Ox 2021 and Year of the Tiger 2022, Year of the Rabbit 2023, Year of the Dragon 2024. The lunar series refers to 12 animals that are representatives of the Chinese lunar calendar. The year 2025 belongs to the snake and is seen as a time of deep reflection, wisdom and inner development. Snakes have a reputation for being philosophical thinkers who are patient and inclined to contemplation. The Chinese zodiac sign of the snake falls in the years: 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013 and 2025.

The coin was minted from pure silver Ag.9999, weighing 1 troy ounce, in the antiqued standard. The collector's edition of the Year of the Snake is produced in a limited edition of only 3,000 pieces. What's more, each of the coins has been enriched with a rotating, gilded image of the titular animal. In addition, individual copies are delivered in an elegant packaging with an attached certificate of authenticity.

The obverse of the silver Year of the Snake coin is decorated with the likeness of the King of Great Britain Charles III and the inscriptions "CHARLES III" "TUVALU" and information about the date of minting and the nominal value of the coin. The obverse was designed by Jody Clark.

The reverse features a rotating, gilded portrait of a snake. The reverse also features information on the weight and purity of the precious metal. The reverse was designed by Natasha Muhl.
