1$ Tariel Fighting the Wild Beasts - The Knight in the Panther's Skin

The national epic poem "Knight in Tiger's Skin" from the 12th century is considered one of the most important works in the history of medieval literature. Until the early 20th century, a copy of this poem was even part of the dowry of every Kartvel bride. Inspired by this literary masterpiece, the Mint of Lithuania created a series of coins named after the poem. The first coin of the series, "Tariel Fighting the Wild Beasts", reflects one of the most important passages of the famous poem.
