In February 2025, the National Bank of Poland is introducing a silver collector's coin with a face value of 20 zł to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Concordat between the Holy See and the Republic of Poland. The coin is made of pure silver with a fineness of Ag 999/1000, weighs 28.28 g, and measures 40 × 28 mm. Its smooth edge and limited mintage of up to 8,000 pieces make it an exclusive collector's item.

The reverse of the coin features portraits of President of the Republic of Poland Stanisław Wojciechowski and Pope Pius XI. The central part of the reverse displays a reproduction of the text of the 1925 Concordat, written in French and ending with a period. Along the lower edge is the inscription “100-LECIE ZAWARCIA KONKORDATU MIĘDZY STOLICĄ APOSTOLSKĄ A RZECZĄPOSPOLITĄ POLSKĄ” (“100th Anniversary of the Signing of the Concordat Between the Holy See and the Republic of Poland”), with a stylized notarial cord depicted above it.

The obverse shows, in its central section, a fragment of the Concordat’s text in French. In the upper left corner is the state seal of the Republic of Poland from 1925, with the denomination “20 ZŁ” placed below it. In the upper right corner is the Polish coat of arms – an eagle – with the mint mark “m / w” below it. Along the lower edge is the inscription “RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 2025” (“Republic of Poland 2025”), above which is another stylized white-and-red notarial cord.

The Concordat commemorated by this coin was signed on February 10, 1925, after just six months of negotiations. The chief Polish negotiator, Minister Stanisław Grabski, recalled the support of Pope Pius XI for Poland, which stemmed from its challenging geopolitical position. The Pope, who had previously served as Apostolic Nuncio to Poland (as Achille Ratti), emphasized that a strong Poland was essential for the Christian world. This collector's coin honors these historic events and highlights their importance in the history of Poland and its relations with the Church.
