The September numismatic bestsellers in our store are coins, bars and bills of various weights, colors and sizes, but each of them is a real specimen.Whoever has just invested in the releases that took the podium this month has definitely gained!
Due to the unique event of this year, the hundredth anniversary of Poland regaining its independence, the NBP issued coins, banknotes and bars that commemorate this historic anniversary. Some issues are still ahead of us (eg we are still waiting for the issue of the silver and gold sphere, which are already very popular). We are sure that they will delight many collectors. Meanwhile, the banknote issued on this occasion, which was introduced for sale on August 31, conquered the market. In less than a month, its price grew by several zlotys, and those who invested in it already gained. It was the independence banknote of twenty-zloty collectors that they bought most often in September. The fact is that the hundredth anniversary of independence is a great subject that can be presented in numismatics, but the value of the banknote is also undoubtedly influenced by the image of Józef Piłsudski on the reverse.
The second place on the podium was won by Perun, which is the first coin in the series Slavic Gods. The circulation of these coins is only 500 pieces around the world! This is the production of the Mint of Poland, in which the coin sold out within a few hours, and orders were reduced by several dozen percent due to the large interest. Perun contains an additive made of wood that adds character to it. It is definitely worth the investment.
The third place belongs to the sixth issue in the Queen's Beasts series, this time the edition presents the Plantagenet Falcon. This two-seater silver coin has completed collections of numismatists around the world. In this series there will be 4 more releases.
