The otter is a semi-aquatic mammal unmistakable for its elongated, flexible body, thick fur and extraordinary agility in the water. Its coat displays shades ranging from dark brown to reddish chestnut, often with lighter areas on the throat and chest. It possesses a flattened head, small rounded ears, long sensory whiskers and a powerful tail that allows it to move with remarkable precision through aquatic environments.

It primarily inhabits rivers, lakes, wetlands, estuaries and coastal regions across various parts of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, depending on the species. It favours environments with abundant food resources, riverside vegetation and suitable places to seek shelter and raise its cubs. Its carnivorous diet consists mainly of fish, crustaceans, molluscs and amphibians, although it can also capture small mammals and other aquatic animals.

Its dense fur traps a layer of air that provides thermal insulation and allows it to retain body heat while swimming in cold waters. It is an excellent swimmer, capable of diving and moving underwater with extraordinary agility thanks to its streamlined body and adaptations for swimming. Its sensitive whiskers allow it to detect movements and locate prey even in murky waters or conditions of poor visibility. The combination of its elegant appearance, extraordinary aquatic abilities and the diverse ecosystems it inhabits makes the otter one of the most fascinating and recognisable mammals in the world.

Its elegant figure stands out among wildflowers in vivid shades of yellow, orange and violet, while gentle rain falls through a spectacular sunset sky filled with dense clouds in shades of blue, violet and orange, creating a magical and immersive atmosphere. The inscription Wild Essence completes the composition at the bottom.
