Banknote 0 Euro Souvenir is a project that was launched in France in 2015 and has spread across Europe. The first Polish euro features the symbols of Warsaw: the Sigismund Column and the Royal Castle.

Souvenir's €0 banknote is produced in Oberthur, the French printing works, which is responsible for printing the original euro banknotes. It is made from 100% cotton paper, which is the paper used to produce normal euro banknotes. It also contains a number of anti-counterfeiting features, such as a hologram, watermark, microprinting, UV protection elements, etc.
