It's going to be a real treat for collectors. The National Bank of Poland presented a preliminary issuance plan for 2024. Historical themes will prevail, but there will also be historic buildings and images of distinguished Poles.

NBP plans to issue banknotes and coins - gold and silver. The issue plan will include news, as well as continuations of the series.

Memory

The National Bank of Poland will issue coins dedicated to the memory of, among others, Maj. Henryk Dobrzański "Hubal", the Ulma family, or prisoners of the Warsaw Pawiak prison.

Anniversaries

There will also be anniversary issues, e.g. a silver zloty on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the introduction of the zloty into circulation, or gold and silver coins referring to the 230th anniversary of the Kościuszko Insurrection.

Treasures of Medal Art

There will also be exceptional premieres of coins from the Treasures of Medal Art series. We will be able to buy, among others, coins with the image of Stanisław Małachowski and Michał Ossowski.

As for banknotes, NBP plans to issue a 20-zloty collector's note on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising.

An interesting fact will undoubtedly be the silver and gold issues of the Polish Olympic Team. Paris 2024 and a coin depicting the castle in Łańcut.
