Issued by Canada with a face value of 5 Dollars, this special release is part of a limited edition of only 200 pieces worldwide, making it an exclusive coin for collectors of contemporary colorized issues.

The reverse features a dramatic full-colour astronaut scene. At the centre stands an astronaut in a bright red spacesuit, set against a spectacular nocturnal landscape of rocky mountains, a glowing moon and a deep star-filled sky. The inscription “CANADA” appears at the top, while the border includes the specifications “9999 FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR 9999”, confirming the coin’s purity and weight.
