5$ Wrath - Seven Deadly Sins
5$ Wrath - Seven Deadly Sins

The design of the coin is illustrative and may differ from the final result.

The seven deadly sins originated in early Christianity and were first formulated in the 4th century. However, it was not until the 13th century that the important theologian and philosopher Thomas Aquinas integrated them into Catholic moral teaching.

The seven deadly sins are: Pride, Avarice, Lust, Wrath, Gluttony, Envy and Sloth. They are not regarded as concrete actions, but as inner attitudes or vices that distance people from God and can lead to serious sin.

The first issue of the series takes up the topic of wrath and presents it in a rather unconventional way. We abandon the traditional, rather martial symbolism and choose animals that best represent the respective mortal sin. A possible surprise effect is definitely intentional!

We start with a classic and colored coin that shows an angry bull running towards the viewer. Not a moment you would like to experience in reality.
