The Cook Islands Silver Bullion Coin: Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark coloured 1 oz Silver 2022 Obsidian Black Coin commemorates the 30th anniversary of the release of the album 'Fear of the Dark' by the band 'Iron Maiden'. The album was released in May 1992 and quickly topped the UK charts.

The coin was produced in pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 38.61 mm in diameter, in obsidian black. The mintage of the coin is 1,992 pieces. The product is full legal tender in the Cook Islands. The Overt shows an image of Queen Elizabeth II, the inscription "ELIZABETH II", "COOK ISLANDS" and the denomination and year. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.

The reverse of the silver coin features the band's coloured album cover, which depicts the mascot 'Eddi' as a kind of Nosferatu tree looking out from under a shining moon. The reverse also features the inscriptions 'IRON MAIDEN' and 'FEAR OF THE DARK'.
