The design of the coin is illustrative and may differ from the final result.

The first coin of the series "Rites of Passage & Afterlife".

It was struck from 2 ounces of silver and its mintage is limited to 555 pieces. It comes in a thematic box with a certificate of authenticity.

The reverse of the coin depicts a Viking funeral ritual. The deceased was laid in a knarr. Various personal items and other artefacts that could be used in the afterlife were placed around him. The ship would then sail out to sea and be set aflame with an arrow. Thus began the journey to the afterlife, from Midgard (Earth) to Asgard.

The obverse shows Valhalla in the background with the Bifröst bridge in front. Valhalla is the Viking world. It consists of a huge hall where Viking warriors could spend the rest of eternity feasting together. However, this privilege was reserved only for those Vikings who died in honourable combat. In front of the hall is a Glasir tree with red and golden leaves, considered the most beautiful among gods and humans.
