The design of the coin is illustrative and may differ from the final result.

The second coin in the new series "Asian Mythology".

Zhao Gong Ming is a mythical figure associated with the universal belief in prosperity as a God of Money and in health as a God of Plague. In iconography, he is depicted in an official's hat as a symbol of his power. It is said that he had a long beard and that his attribute was a tiger. He could chase away thunder and lightning and evoke clouds and rain. His most important religious function was to disperse plague and prevent natural disasters.

The oxidized reverse and obverse make the coin look scarier than it really is. Selective gilding emphasizes the details of the image. Very low mintage - only 333 pieces!
