5$ Crossroads of Ravens - The Witcher

Mint of Gdańsk is pleased to present another two-ounce coin from The Witcher series – “The Crossroads of Ravens”.

The reverse depicts young Geralt of Rivia battling a Mamutak – a predatory, bird-like monster. This unique depiction captures the witcher at the very beginning of his journey,

gaining experience through encounters with monsters. The dynamic battle scene conveys the harsh nature of a world where every contract can prove to be deadly.

The coin’s rich relief is filled with intricate details that bring the atmosphere of The Witcher universe to life. Selective gold plating highlights elements of Geralt’s figure and his sword,

drawing attention to the central character of the composition. The scene is further enhanced by red UV printing, evoking the brutality of the encounter and emphasizing traces

of blood. One of the most striking features is the 3D insert inspired by a mill wheel, which extends beyond the flat surface of the relief.

The obverse depicts a mysterious forest landscape and a path leading deep into an unknown world. It is accompanied by Geralt’s two swords, the image of a raven, and rich

ornamentation inspired by The Witcher universe. The composition also incorporates the issue details – Niue 2026, 5 Dollars and Ag 999.

The coin is struck from 2 ounces of .999 fine silver and has a face value of 5 dollars of Niue.

Its mintage is limited to just 2,000 pieces.
