The heroes created by Janusz Christa are once again featured on a coin from the official Kajko and Kokosz series – full of humor, adventure, and unparalleled charm, immortalized in 200 grams of pure Ag 999 silver.
The $15 Kajko and Kokosz – Woje Mirmiła collector coin is the latest installment in a unique series of silver coins created through the collaboration of the Gdańsk Mint and the Janusz Christa Kreska Foundation. The series faithfully reflects the atmosphere of the cult Polish comic book, combining masterful minting craftsmanship with the original style of Christa's drawings.
The reverse of the coin depicts a colorful scene from the adventures of Kajko and Kokosz – Mirmił's warriors in a humorous situation known from the comic book panels. The dynamic, colorful composition, complemented by embossed fragments of black-and-white panels, fully captures the spirit of the original. In the foreground, we see the brave heroes in a boat, and in the background – dangerous but funny opponents, which together create a scene full of energy and comedy. At the bottom of the reverse side is the red “Kajko i Kokosz” logo and the author's signature “Christa.”
The obverse is decorated with the coat of arms of Fiji with the inscription “FIJI 2025” and the denomination “15 DOLLARS.” In the background, there is a panoramic view of a medieval castle surrounded by a palisade, referring to the setting of the heroes' adventures.
The coin is minted from 200 grams of Ag 999 silver, using the antique finish technique with selective coloring and high relief. It is an impressive, limited edition piece for collectors and fans of Janusz Christa's work.
