The beauty of ancient China on the third coin from the series Imperial Art

The series Imperial Art consists of remarkably exclusive coins, each of them presenting the works of ancient cultures in a micro scale.

The third coin from this series consists of two ounces of pure, oxidized silver with the dimension of 50 mm. Both the obverse and reverse sides of the coin create an interesting mosaic of the most commonly recognised motifs connected with the ancient culture of China: the Great Wall of China, the Temple of Heaven and the old imperial palace of the Ming and Qing house, namely the Forbidden City, in which a beautiful piece of agate was incorporated. Thanks to its unusual structure, each of the holders of the coin will be able to enjoy a unique piece.

What is also worth noticing is the beautiful ornamentation decorating the bottom sides of the obverse and reverse, taken from the Chinese tradition. Each of its details is perfectly exposed because of the oxidized silver and high quality of execution. The ancient monuments of the Chinese culture, which have been placed on the reverse side of the coin, are ordered harmoniously, creating a grand perspective.

Mesopotamia and Egypt, two previous editions in the series Imperial Art, have been sold out. Taking into consideration the interest of the collectors in this coin, which we had observed even before the issuing, the volume of China, limited to 500 pieces, will be unavailable very soon as well.
