2000 Francs Archangel Raphael - Archangels

The second coin in the "Archangels". series. It was produced by the Mint of Poland and shows Archangel Raphael. 

Archangel Raphael is one of the highest-ranking angels in Jewish and Christian tradition. His name means "God heals". He belongs to the group of angels created by God on the first day of the creation of the world.

Above all, Raphael has the power to heal. He is the patron of doctors, the sick, apothecaries and therapists. He is the patron saint of doctors, the sick, pharmacists and therapists, and can be approached with the intention of healing one's own body. This may concern various aspects of health, both mental and physical. 

The coin is decorated with glass inserts in the shape of the wings of the Archangel.
