INSURED SHIPMENT / OWN COLLECTION

A set of 9 silver coins from the "Faberge" series, whose previous issues were very popular among collectors.

Fabergé Eggs are known as priceless treasures, which were created especially for the Russian royal family by jeweller Peter Carl Fabergé. They are made of gold, silver, precious stones, ivory and pearl mass.

The first Easter Egg in Fabergé's workshop was made in 1884 by order of Alexander III as a gift for the Emperor's wife, Maria. After Alexander III's death, his son, Nicholas II, continued the tradition of ordering one egg for Easter. Inside the egg, there was usually a surprise hiding, which was kept a strict secret until the gift was opened.

In 1900 the Fabergé eggs were exhibited at the World Exhibition in Paris. They were awarded gold medals and Fabergé received the Legion of Honour and became famous throughout Europe. By the outbreak of the revolution, 54 tsarist eggs were created

These works still inspire many people today. The Mint of Poland has issued a series of coins, each of which contains an image of a different Fabergé Egg. Beautiful, mirror-printed coins with colourful imprints delight everyone.

In the offered set each coin was struck from 16.81 g of silver 925. The set includes the following coins: Coronation Egg, St. George's Order Egg, Moscow Kremlin Egg, Swan Egg, Rooster Egg, Winter Egg, Rose Egg, Lilli Bouquet Egg, Napoleonic Egg.
