Casimir IV Jagiello was the king of Polish in the years 1447-1492 and the Grand Duke of Lithuania. At the time of his reign Republic won the Teutonic Knights and regained Pomerania, and the Jagiellonian dynasty became one of the most important in Europe.
Kazimierz IV had thirteen children, of whom as many as four attendance at the Polish throne. Their mother was Elizabeth Rakuszanka called the "Mother of Kings".
The coin with the image of Casimir's is stamped in silver top 999 and is a continuation of the series Treasures of King Stanislaus Augustus.
