Treasures of King Stanislaus Augustus is a unique series issued by the Polish National Bank. It won recognition among collectors properly from the first coin with the image of Boleslaw the Brave.

Ladislas of Varna is another Polish king, who joins the collection of treasures. Ladislas III was King of the Polish and Hungarian, and although he lived only 20 years, it went down in history thanks to his mysterious death. In 1444 Ladislas III died in battle against the Turks at Varna, and his body has not been found. In this regard, a number of legends, one of which says that the king survived, fled to Portugal and had a son - Christopher Columbus.


The coin with the image of King Ladislas of Varna was minted in an edition of 5250 pieces.
