INSURED SHIPMENT / OWN COLLECTION

A set of 6 coins depicting famous sailing ships. Each coin contains a hologram in the form of a wind rose on the obverse.

The set includes coins:

Sedov - the largest school sailing ship in the world. For many years it was the largest sailing ship in general, but it gave priority to the cruising Royal Clipper.

Dar Pomorza - three-mast school sailing ship (frigate) purchased by the Pomeranian society in 1929 for the Maritime School in Gdynia. Since 1982 moored in Gdynia as a museum ship, a branch of the National Maritime Museum in Gdansk.

Amerigo Vespucci - a school sailing ship belonging to the Italian Navy. The vessel is named after the explorer and traveller Amerigo Vespucci.

Constitution - American three-mast frigate with a hull made of oak wood. It is the oldest floating and still in service ship in the world. The ship is named after the Constitution of the United States and is currently on active service in the US Navy.

Cutty Sark - a 19th century tea clipper that broke many speed records. It is now the only surviving tea clipper in the world and now stands in dry dock at the quayside in the London Borough of Greenwich as a museum ship.

Kruzensztern - Russian sailing ship, a four-masted barque, one of the largest sailing ships.

We offer the coins from the photo; Slightly damaged back of box.
