The first coin depicts the world's first "Space Walk". The first person to walk in space on March 18, 1965 was the Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov from the spacecraft Voskhod 2. This walk is also the subject of the second coin. The third coin shows a colourful image of the god Uranos - in Greek mythology he was the personification of heaven. The last coin is dedicated to the first American Space Station Skylab, which operated from May 14, 1973 to July 11, 1979.
