Franz Anton Beckenbauer - German footballer who played as a stopper, and after his playing career as a football coach and sports activist, world champion, European champion, two-time winner of the Golden Ball (1972, 1976).

Eusébio da Silva Ferreira - Portuguese footballer born in the capital of Portuguese East Africa (now Mozambique). A centre forward, nicknamed the "Black Panther" or the "Black Pearl of Mozambique". Bronze medallist and top scorer (9 goals) at World Cup 66, winner of the Golden Ball in the 1965 France Football poll.

Lev Ivanovich Yashin - Soviet footballer who played as a goalkeeper. European champion 1960 and European vice-champion 1964, he is considered the best goalkeeper in the history of football.

Zbigniew Kazimierz Boniek - Polish football player, coach, football activist and businessman. Placed on the list of the hundred best players in the history of world football according to FIFA. Outstanding representative of Poland and the captain of the national team, participant in three final tournaments of the World Cup - Argentina 1978, Spain 1982 (3rd place), Mexico 1986 (a total of 16 matches and 6 goals). Two-time Polish club champion in the colours of Widzew Łódź, champion of Italy and winner of, among others, the European Cup (1985) and the Cup Winners' Cup (1984) with Juventus. One of five Polish players to win the European Cup. Winner of the 3rd place in the 1982 Golden Ball plebiscite. Footballer of the 50th and 60th anniversaries of the Piłka Nożna weekly magazine.
