The National Bank of Poland is planning to issue a collector note with the face value of PLN 10 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of regaining independence by Poland.
The face of the note depicts the figure of Commander Józef Piłsudski (bust in profile) and the front façade of the Belweder Palace, symbol of the central government in the first years of the reborn Poland.
The back of the note shows the image of the Emblem of the Republic of Poland - the White Eagle, as designed in 1919, as well as the Monument of the Heroic Deed of the Polish Legions in Kielce.
