Another coin was added to the "The Enduring Soldiers" series. The National Bank of Poland minted a coin from silver. The reverse is decorated with the image of Łukasz Ciepliński. Additionally, the coin is adorned with a colourful Polish flag.

Łukasz Ciepliński was born on 26 November 1913. From the early years of his youth he attended the Cadet Corps in Rawicz. In 1936, he graduated from the Infantry Cadet School and immediately began serving in the 62nd Infantry Regiment in Bydgoszcz.

He took part in the Second World War, among others in defending Warsaw and liberating Rzeszów. He took part not only in fights, but also organized the structures of intelligence and counterintelligence. Conspirators subordinate to him were liquidating German informants, they detected Hitler's secret quarters and intercepted part of V-1 and V-2 missiles. General Kutrzeba decorated him with the Order of Virtuti Militari V class.

He was also active in anti-Soviet organizations. He developed mainly intelligence and propaganda activities. He was arrested on 28 November 1947 and brutally interrogated for 3 years, as a result of which he became deaf to one ear. On 14 October 1950, he was sentenced to five death sentences. On March 1, 1951 Łukasz Ciepliński was murdered with a shot in the back of his head. Cieplinski realized that the Soviet court would not allow his family to have a funeral, only at night would he throw him into a nameless pit. Therefore, before his death he swallowed a medal with the Virgin Mary, unfortunately, so far it was not enough to identify his remains.
