_{THE FIRST COIN OF THE LECHIA GDAŃSK}

 _{2019 year for us was full of new projects and collaborations. One of them is the cooperation with a football club from Gdańsk and the issue of Lechia Gdańsk's first money to celebrate the club's 75th anniversary, celebrated in 2020. Check out how the coin looks like, and what attractions related to it we have prepared for you.}

_{11 Guilders Lechia Gdańsk} 

_{As a local company, we wanted to publish something that would connect the inhabitants of Gdańsk and also refer to the history of the city. We decided to create coins dedicated to 75 years of Lechia Gdańsk.
The coin's nominal value is 11 guilders. It is neither a random number nor a name - 11 refers to the number of players playing in the football team during the match. Guilders, on the other hand, refer to history - Gdańsk Guilders were the currency used in the Free City of Gdańsk in the Napoleonic period and in the interwar period (1923-2939).
The obverse of the coin depicts Lechia Gdańsk football players playing in classic striped T-shirts. Above them is the face value of the coin. Below is our logo and company name. On the reverse side there is the coat of arms of Lechia Gdańsk and the years beginning and ending 75 years.
The coin is made of brass and its weight is 12.4 g. The stamp was also issued in a commemorative blister version. The price of the coin is 11 PLN, you can order it [ under this link ].}

_{Some coins were issued in a commemorative blister. It was designed by Lechia Gdańsk. The colour and typography refers to the visual identification of the club. On the blister there is a short history of the club along with its greatest sporting successes, as well as some commemorative photos. Additionally, the specification of the coin is given. _{Mint your own guilders} 

_{Another interesting offer related to coins is their own minting. For lovers of beauty and perfection, we offer machine-made coins. However, we also have something for fans of DIY products - 11 guilders of Lechia Gdańsk can be minted with their own strength and agility. Specially constructed device on a wooden trunk allows you to mint a coin with a hammer. The quality of the minted coin depends on the skill of the minting person :).}  

_{Premiere of coins} 

_{The coins had their premier on December 21, 2019, during a match between Lechia Gdańsk and Raków Częstochowa. On that day the coins were officially presented and minted. The first minting was carried out by the Polish representative and then Lechia Gdańsk's footballer, Artur Sobiech.
The whole project met with a positive response of fans and a lot of interest.}

_{Buying and minting your own coins will also be possible at every Lechia Gdańsk home game in 2020. Look out for our stand at the stadium or in front of the stadium (if the weather will be sunny).
We will also have our stands during the Free Time Festival in April and the Dominican Fair during the holidays. Then you will also have a chance to buy and mint guilders from Gdańsk.}

_{Another place where you can buy coins in a cap and blister will soon be Lechia Gdańsk's partner shops located in shopping malls, Main Gdańsk, stadium etc. Interestingly, 11 guilders of Lechia Gdańsk in these shops will also be...gift token.}

_{A very interesting element of the whole project is treating Lechia's money as a kind of means of payment.
The coin has a face value of 11 guilders and costs 11 PLN - its value at the moment of exchange for other goods in Lechia Gdańsk's partner shops will also be 11 PLN. It is not a means of payment like Polish coins, but a gift token exchangeable for gadgets connected with the club.}
